Tourmaline is a fantastic group of stones that never fail to inspire me. Available in every colour and tone imaginable they make wonderful gemstones - there really is a tourmaline for everyone.
This beautiful cushion cut, green tourmaline was mined in Nigeria, the source of many exceptional tourmalines. Weighing 6.57 carats and measuring approximately 12 x 10 millimetres it is an impressive stone with delightful sparkle and flashes of intense electric green.
Set in a substantial quantity of highly polished 18 carat yellow and white gold and accented by two quarter carat diamonds, the end result is a classic style statement.
The ring shank has been hand sculpted for a more comfortable fit on the hand, and the whole band is a complex mix of interesting angles and reflective surfaces.
Two triangular cut outs also mirror the diamond shoulders and add coherence to the overall design.
